Waltz through the Barriers- 3

IceAngelDarkMoon

~~~~~~~~Sorry for the delay but things here have been beyond busy. I'm taking summer classes so I can almost fit all the classes I need and want to take in during the year, and then we're moving. So I'm going to be separated from my baby (my computer) for about two weeks. I don't know how I'm going to survive. But there are still more chapters that I have to add to this! Please review!~~~~~~~
********** Special thanks to my good friend Silver who help give me the incentive to continue this story, and always being willing to help me out with any story! You rock! And thank you to everyone else who was kind enough to actually review! Your comments were much appreciated!*********
^^^^^^^This story will now contain SLASH of both types. If you don't like it stop reading, no one is forcing you to read. If you don't know what it is, its same gender love, and if you're at all open minded please read I don't let it get graphic. They'll only kiss and hug, that's about it!^^^^^^^^^
"Why should I let you go?" Silence asked still holding Sorrows gaze with hers. Neither of them would break the eye contact for fear that it would look like submission. Silence's face was still cool and unemotional under her mask. Sorrow had long since hidden his first shocked and emotion filled face, but at her words there seemed to be a very faint flicker of emotions behind his mask but they hide again just as fast as they had appeared.
"Let me go." His voice sounded a little pleading, but not out rightly. "I'll leave and you can pretend all of this never happened. You can go on with your mission and your life and just forget this whole thing. You wouldn't want your memories screwed up by the thought that some guy you danced with one time was actually not a guy at all." His voice now held a thinly disguised anger and Sorrow all but hissed the words and hers eyes narrowing (for those of you who did not understand what she just admitted, it is a GIRL. I repeat Sorrow is really female, as in not male!). As she continued though her voice was again soft and almost sad, but still as deep as it had been when they had meat earlier in the evening. "I'm sorry about all this, I never meant for any of this to happen. I never meant to ask you to dance it just happened. But I'm not sorry it happened." Sorrow closed her eyes as if in resignation and she moved her face away from facing Silence.
"No, I won't let you go, and I'm not sorry either." Silence said forcefully to the girl still pinned under her. As she spoke she again took the other's face in her hand and faced it towards her, but this time she tilted the face up towards her. Sorrow's eyes shot open at the words and action Silence had done. There was a brief flash of fear but it was quickly masked as again met Silence's gaze easily. But this time Silence did not hold it instead she closed her eyes and leaned forward to brush her lips against Sorrow's. Sorrow was shocked for a split second but as quickly as she was shocked she returned the kiss. Silence kept her hand under Sorrow's chin gently caressing it as they kissed. Sorrow took her free hand and placed it gently on the back or Silence's neck. The kiss was amazing, neither one had actually kissed anyone else before but they figured out what they were doing. It was simple and chaste, but still held all their feelings in it. They pulled apart slowly to get some air, but neither moved back very far. They could still feel the other's soft breath on their cheeks.
"I never said it would bother me that you were a girl." Silence's said with a grin that looked like the cat that swallowed the canary and got the cream! Sorrow gave a quick smirk to that and then in a flash quickly flipped Silence over so that Sorrow was now on top. Sorrow was sitting on Silence's middle while leaning over and holding Silence's hands above her head, much in the same fashion that Sorrow had been held in only moments before. Sorrow smiled at her slip in her guard, and Sorrow just smirked down at her.
"You knew even before you laid down on my stomach. What gave it away?" Sorrow asked her lips only a few inches from Silence's lips. Silence looked smug from behind her mask as she looked up at the girl who pinned her.
"The biggest give away was you were perfect. You were everything a girl dreams about from childhood; the perfect prince not to forward or egotistical, even a little shy. And you asked the princess to dance and their costumes fit perfectly. It really was like a dream, wasn't it?" Silence asked rhetorically. "Then there was the fact that you actually listened to what I had to say and even deduced from what you knew and my actions even more about me. You were too perfect to be true, that's how I knew. Besides my woman's intuition kind of kicked in, no pun intended of course, that something was just a little off."
"So basically I was too perfect?" Sorrow asked, her grin stretching across her face.
"Yup, but I never said I'd want you to change that."
"I wasn't planning on it." Sorrow replied and bent down and joined their lips once more. It was even more electrifying than the first time. I got to be more passionate, but it still held all their love. Sorrow was now caressing Silence's face, while Silence used her arms to encircle Sorrows narrow waist and hold her close. By the end of the kiss Sorrow was lying right on top of Silence, and there was no space between them. Again they pulled apart slowly but this time both knew that it would not be the last them they did so.
Sorrow slowly rocked back and then off of Silence, but at the same time pulled Silence to her feet as well. They stood but a few centimeters apart. They kept their eye contact and just studied the other as if they could see into the soul of the one they were looking at. Then slowly Sorrow reached up and towards the ribbon that held the black mask covered in miniature roses on Silence's face. She (damn I keep wanting to type 'he') slowly pulled and the mask slowly came away. Silence who had seen Sorrows hand mimicked his move. She too tugged gently on the glittered mask, which hides Sorrow's face, away.
There silhouetted by the full moon the two saw each other for the first time. In the glow of the moon they each took turns tracing and memorizing the other's ethereal face. To the passerby it would have been breathtaking to watch. A demon and an angel framed by a rose archway, gently caressing each other's faces and then leaning in slowly for a soft kiss. Not only the physical beauty but the whole aura of love and happiness, where so much sorrow and hatred had been would be overwhelming to anyone who happened upon the couple.
I still have to set up the other two don't I? ;-) Please review and let me know what you thought, or at least let me know you read the story if nothing else! IADM
