To my love, so free and pure
You are wonderful with your long waves
Of golden hair and blue eyes
Your lips are like roses, lovely
I look to you for comfort and torment
All in the same, so many feelings
I love the way you look and smell
Your very breath is like an angel's
You play hard to get, so twisted in your ways
Your beauty beholds evil, and a cold heart
You very soul is wondrous
If it were not for your traitorous beliefs
Do you not feel love? Are you blind?
Your body is soft fair and stunning
But now I have come to see,
Even roses have thorns
