CLAIMER! I wrote the words. If you're gonna steal them, at least let me know!

Poet's Notes: This is the third of the trio I wrote after my heavy-duty convo with my boyfriend. This is my favorite, I think. Please tell me what you think!

Two

By Katie of Gryffindor

Rose petals fall upon soft velvet,

The world fades away.

Neither would notice the difference

If night suddenly became day.

Because nothing exists outside that kiss,

They'd give it all up to remain this way.

Fingers explore the smoothest silk,

Flitting over familiar skin.

Both enjoy the comfortable silence,

Not noticing the state of dress they're in.

All they care about is the other one,

And the realize how lonely they could have been.

The pieces of the puzzle come together as one,

Two hearts meeting in joy and happiness

You and I found each other, luckily,

And now I must confess.

I love you, heart and soul,

With everything I possess

Your kisses fill my every thought,

They never leave my mind

Your heart has shown me something

I never thought I'd find

You're the most unique man alive,

You're the rarest jewel, and you're mine.
