2Ok! Rewind! Maybe I should start by introducing myself and how we got into this mess. Im David and the girl flying off the cliff to her doom? That's my twin sister Angela, yea fraternal twins. You might be wondering how we got in this mess right? Well It actually started much earlier in the day, let me explain. We live in the time of segregation not with race, are religion are sexes. That was extinguished long ago. Now it's psionics and nons. Me and my sister we were born psionics, gifted with Psychic powers..but not accepted because of this. That's why we were given up by are parents when we were five years old to live with nons where we wouldn't have to hide..and we could have freedom. Let me started popping up a few years back, nons are non-psychic folk said they were gifted at first..but soon we were regarded as freaks and we had to be tested..studied first by permission,later by force they gathered psionics like cattle,fellow study them..find out there secrets and how non's could posses these powers. That's why are parents gave us up..so we could have a chance to live a normal life so we wouldn't have to run all the time. Later are parents were captured..along with hundreds more one's who escaped had to leave of cities and live in rural areas of the desserts and forest. Rumors had it the rare's had it the worse of the test..Rare's are psionics who posses two psionic powers..which was very rare. are parents had two psionics mostly posses one psionic power. So we had to hide are powers while living with non's but it wasn't easy for my sis and when we both happen to have three psionic powers, probably the only one's who back to how we got into this mess, take a look.
The sunlight hit his eyes with a bright force, pulling his blanket over his head he rolled around hoping to get a few hours before going to school, " David!.David!..wake up David time for school!" Carola called. Maybe I'll ditch today David thought since he didn't do his homework the day before " Oh no your not! " Angela called from across the hallway " Your not ditching again I'll tell Carola!" David sneered, " I told you to stay out my head Angela! " Angela walked into the room; hair tied up in a bandanna " Shhh you want carola to hear! If she knew!" Carola spoke up " knew what dears?" David and Angela looked at one another and said in unison " Oh nothing! " David finished packing his lunch and headed out the door Angela following close by " Bye carola! " she waved. David kicked a small pebble while walking the dirty sandy path, " I wish we could tell her " Angela looked at David " me too. but we can't..not yet " David kneeling down picking up three pebbles in his hand and looking at Angela " We could really help around the house if she knew! " David stared at the pebbles as they shook slightly and they lifting into the air hovering over David's palm, Angela laughed " How! By moving pebbles! David shouted " Hey im getting better at it by the day! ". David and Angela made it to the school late like usual, entering into the stone building they quietly tried to make there way to class when a bell sounded. Beeeeep, doors flung open in the hallways and kids exited them in a hurry like usual. Angela smiled " We missed first period again" suddenly Angela twitched, voices in her head grew louder " I can't wait till lunch!" " I wonder is my hair okay" " Angela thinks she is allll that! " David looked at Angela concerned.." Angela you you hearing them again.? Angela grasped her head the voices grow larger and number and volume, she dropped to her knees grasping her head tighter " Make it stop! Make it stop! " she started yelling repeatedly, kids in the hallways all stopped what they were doing and looked at Angela, David kneeled down to her " Angela are you okay" That's when a blur of force rocked from Angela's head sending David straight into a locker, it spread like a shockwave sending each and every student down like bowling pins, books flying in every direction. A teacher stepped out of the class finding moaning students on the floor and looked at David and Angela and screamed " Freaks! " some of the kids looked up from the floor, David gulped and grabbed Angela who was now panting on the floor by the wrist and pulled her up rushing out of the front door, running outside students rushed to follow pointing and shrieking " freak! Freak" letting other passer-byes look, still pulling Angela by her wrist David took a turn though dense vegetation a shortcut he knew home, sunddenly sirens blew through out the city.a signal for psionics. Rushing into the house and Angela collapsing into a seat David started to pack their suitcases, David yelled in a panic " We gotta go..we gotta get outta here! " Angela still dizzy " What? What do you mean go! Go where! " David stuttered " I.I don't know! But we gotta write carola a note! While I pack are suitcases " Angela looked puzzled and scared " What am I suppose to write on it! David stuffing his possession into a suitcase " Umm that were psionics! And we have to go! And will miss her and thanks for taking care of us! And that were gonna find are parents! " Angela interrupted " Find are parents, when did you decide that " Angela then got a thought from David " Oh..now".
Their suitcases packed David and Angela ran down a path leading straight into the dessert, " Where are we going! " Angela said panting. " I don't know! If you didn't let people see your powers we wouldn't be in this mess! " Angela grew angry " You know we started losing control of them recently.I couldn't stop telepathy went haywire! " David still running " That shockwavethingy didn't look telepathic to me! " Angela replied, " Yea I don't know what that telekinetic?" David was about to reply when he heard a humming noise and in the distant seeing to hovering machines flying towards him! David yelled " Hovics! There coming for us " Angela examined the hovics, they had long metallic arms with claws on each end, it had no feet instead some time of hovering device and in the center a large red glowing eye used to scan for psionics and block there powers. David and Angela ran tried running, dessert in all directions, David then tripping over a large stone hitting his knee, "aw!". David let out a cry falling onto the ground, Angela stopped and ran back. David looked at the rock he tripped on and tried staring at it, it shook and wobbled and that was about it " help me! "David said to Angela, Angela looked at the boulder, stareing into. One of the hovics gained speed and opened its claws extending for Angela and David when the rock flew up into the metal beast glowing core and exploding into pieces over them. Angela helping David up and continued to run towards a cliff vision impaired by flying sand.
David let out a gasp and froze, seeing them both fly over a cliff and falling to their death's " Wait! " David yelled, Angela looked and stopped inches before flying over the cliff and looked at David without knowing how close she came to death " What another priminission? David Nodded and pointed as the sand cleared how close them came to falling off when out of know where a hovic grabbed Angela extending it's two claws around her waist and lifting her into the air letting a pulse of electricity into her body cutting off her psionic powers. David had to think quick and in a panic thrusted him arms outward as looking at the hovic when dozens of small stones started bombarding the machine, making it have a slow descent to the ground. The machine shot off sparks them collapsed onto the ground still grasping Angela, Angela let out a sigh of relief when the machine started rolling off of the cliff (Ok fastfoward!) I ran to the edge of the cliff in disbelief, I saw my sister flying towards the ground at a tremendous speed and let out a yell " Nooooooooooo Angela! ".
