What if it Never Stopped Raining?

Who can say when this rain will end,

Is there anyone out there that can tell?

'Cause it's been pouring on for years,

Everyone's grown cold since the first drop fell.

You wonder why some still have hope,

They think that this flood will go away,

But with all the pain that these clouds hold,

It seems we'll never see a sunny day.

And what if it never stopped raining?

Forever seems like too long to wait.

Our houses become filled with acid rain,

While our hearts and minds are full of hate.

Dreams of rainbows and bright blue skies,

Replaced with nightmares of a crying sun,

They haunt us more and more each day,

And there's nowhere dry left to run.
