The Living Room

She glided across the room, her eyes glittering, dark still yet.

A satisfied smirk played on full lips, lips drawn smugly back.

Black paint, black paint upon sharpened nails, the light playing.

Twisted smiles showed her way, wary and pained. Blue glittering,

deep upon stairs of deep, hallways closed off. Yellow tape, so

satisfactorily clipped.

Teeth showing, a smile forced yet not gone cold, on so long.

Yells scraped forth, blood trickling down, scraped free and dripping,

A slap, so translucent, turns a head. The smack of impact…

A tear trails down.
