Wanderer

The vast desolate plains

Reach out to me

And beckon for my return.

The lonely cold ocean.

Rushes up to meet me

From behind with crashing waves.

Lost and confused am I,

No one to turn to,

Nowhere to go.

A world full of darkness.

A void of emptiness.

A place of endless time.

A lost soul with sorrowful hope

Walking through the rain

And feeling the pain

As the river flows onward.

It is the land of lost life

And full of terrible strife

For a lone vagabond trudging

Plagued by looming shadows of the past.
