Trapped
Darkness
A pool of endless darkness surrounded by nothingness
All alone in the shadowy black pit of guilt, sorrow and agony
No one to touch, to hear. . . silence
But yet, a voice calls
A voice full of pain and suffering
A voice so recognized yet so disguised by fear
Calling out to her-calling her name.
It's coming closer and closer
Each second her heart beats faster
The voice, once so soft and tender
Now drenched with trepidation
The cries for help come from every angle
Beating themselves into her mind
Her head on the verge of exploding
Countless times she's tried to awaken
Thinking it is all a dream
Her head is pounding
Her body aches
Yet, She doesn't realize
That she is the one calling for help
It is her own cries she hears
She never saw it coming
Her own death
Never
