I watch your sorrow in helpless plea
I observe you as you disintergrate before my eyes
an ache to reach out and heal your pain
your eyes brimming with hesitance
watching your every move through crystal clear glass
faces pressed against the cool icy glass
examining every stab slowly numb your soul

As time passes you show signs healing
your eyes no longer appear as windows of an abandoned house
but like an empty fire place
slowly relighting itself from left over cinders
You fool others with a mirage of disregard
i can see beyond the veil you hide under
i can see it still hurts
Once tattooed on your heart
you cannot erase it with out leaving a scar

My darling, you pricked your finger
on the thorn of a decieving rose
lessons learnt my love, be wary of charming roses
