MOONLIGHT SONATA

Meditate. Live purely. Be quiet. Do your work with mastery. Like the moon,
come out from behind the clouds! Shine!
-Buddha

In the dark, midnight blue sky,
A silent lady strolls,
Her gossamer wings
Fluttering enticingly.

Her gown is of
Stunning, magnificent,
Silvery satin and flowing silk,
Truly a sight to behold!

In the deep night, she strolls
Among the children of light
Blowing each and every one
A tender kiss.

In the deep night, she prances,
Frolicking with those
Mischievous fluffy clouds,
Tickling and teasing them sore.

Yes, she is a lady of
A hundred faces.
She is the song that Summer sings,
And yet the chill that Winter brings.

Then, with the emergence of
Regal, splendid sun,
Her tinkling laughter fades away
As she slumbers for the rest of the day.
