It eats away at your emotions
Takes them over and makes them nothing
At first you fight it
Wanting to feel

Taking them over
Turns them to nothing
Then it burned
So deep in your soul

Soon they're is nothing left
Nothing else to torment
Even the burning has stopped
And you wish you could have even that

Before you know it your alone
The world doesn't care
And then it starts again
That wonderful flickering flame

The loneliness is gone
In its place hate for yourself and those around you
You'd feel cold, barren without it
So sweet, this flame of heat

Time is taking its tool
Hate is down to embers of anger
You hate yourself
For letting the heat go

They find you days later
There's truly nothing left
People star into your cold lifeless eyes
Wishing for at least the hate to be back

They wish they'd tried
Then, at least your heart would still beat
They want to your eyes filled with countless secrets
