She looked like fire
Her nostrils inhaled fumes
With smeared lipstick
In the air of perfumes
Her glassy eyes
Gazed in too deep
Like two blue spies
Pretending to weep
Impervious mind
Intrigued,
I'd sneak in
And see what's inside
Beneath the lucid skin
She had numerous bruises
Life tried to cut her throat
But she found excuses
Spiraling in her thoughts
Of suicide
I was tumbling down,
Here she was
Ready to collide
Tired of questions
And the barricade
Her life was nothing
But a masquerade
Took off her mask
No where to hide
Stood in front of me
One lonely child inside
