Amerah slept naught that night she just sat watching Linden until the early dawn. When the sun peaked over the folds of earth she awoke him.
"Get up. Its dawn were moving out."
As Linden packed and got ready he noticed exactly how heartless Amerah was feeling. She had been yelling all morning at any slight mistakes talking about how if they put one foot out of line she would leave both of them behind.
"Come on hurry up." Both men followed her.
"So Aniline" Linden said trying to lighten the mood. "How old are you?"
"Ten thousand." He smiled at Lindens gape even though Linden tried to hide it.
"Did you hear that?" Amerah had actually spoken to them with out yelling.
"Hear what? I think you're going crazy" Linden replied "my grandfather went crazy. He said he heard things too-."
"Linden shut up" Aniline interrupted him. "I hear it to Amerah."
Linden turned around to find a strange girl looking him up and down an arrow pointed at his forehead.
"Hello Aniline" she said tightly "what strange beings have you brought this time."
"Anastra how are you? I brought our prophecy home!"
Anastra lowered her bow. "Is it true?" she asked Amerah.
"Yes it is."
"Than welcome home sister. Our parents were worried when Aniline could not find you. I was as well I had to fight Imrah myself last week."
"Amerah" Aniline chimed in "this is your sister Anastra. I believe you can tell by the hair and eyes."
That was true Anastra looked exactly like her. The only difference was height. Anastra was much taller than she was. In fact, she was equal in height with Aniline.
"And who is this?" Her arrow was still lodged in the bow as she motioned towards Linden.
"This" Amerah said, "is my best friend Linden." Aniline coughed and Anastra smiled lightly.
"Any friend of yours is a friend of mine. Welcome home sister. Aniline you know where you live they will want to see you later show them where to go I will inform my parents of your arrival."
"Aniline" Amerah asked out of Anastra's hearing range. "Is she a Goddess as well?"
"Yes she is. You see you are the Goddess of the forest and anything to do with the subject plants, Tree Sprites etc. She is the Goddess of two beloved things love and animals. Strange combination but they work for her. Didn't you notice all the pink flowers intertwined in her hair as well as the birds on her shoulders."
"Nope I was to busy gathering the fact that I had a sister." Amerah let Aniline lead. Anastra had battled with Imrah and she wasn't dead. She could only wondered about what had happened.
Linden spent the afternoon relaxing in the room that had been set up for them. It was inside a rather large tree. Aniline was sleeping up in one of the high branches. As the door burst open Linden pretended to sleep. But through the cracks of his eyes he surveyed the intruders.
One intruder was a tall blonde man dressed n silver in blue cloaks. His skin was fair and he had the deepest blue eyes. The other was a woman. She was as tall as Amerah with hair that fell in wavy dark locks to her waist her eyes were just as golden if not more than Amerah's.
"Mom, Dad" Amerah whispered. These were the people she had been dying to meet since she could remember.
"Hello dear" the woman spoke. Linden sat bolt upright and made for t he doorway.
"I don't want to be rude." He closed the door tightly and sighed deeply. The Queen of elves was the exact image of Amerah only older. Even though he knew Amerah would never live to be that old.
The man knelt to give her a kiss on her forehead. "It's so good to have you back my dear."
"It's good to be home. I don't get it for long do I?"
"You have until Imrah comes back. Your sister held her off she won't be back for a week or two."
"I want to stay."
"And I want you to stay as I want your sister to stay. I'm not ready to give you up." Amerah hugged her mother tightly.
"We will always love you Amerah" the King whispered as he joined in on the hug.
"I know" she whispered.
Amerah spent the rest of the day with her parents and sister tomorrow would be spent with her people. As the next day came Amerah walked through out the streets of the city meeting others of her kind. One particular little girl stood out.
"Ma'am" the little girl ran to her "ma'am are you going to save us? Are you?" Amerah just smiled lightly and gave her a little nod. The girl ran back to her mother. "I told you she would. I believe."
A/N: Sometimes you just don't want to read these if I were you I wouldn't review, even though Shannon would greatly appreciate it, and just go on reading because of the ending. However if there aren't any more chapters I would review.
