I hold in my hand,
Eternal dreamers.
Endless amounts of ceaseless sleepers,
Aimlessly drifting from day to night,
Blinded by their own light.
I see with my eyes,
Hopeless lovers,
Forever bound to the hearts of others.
Cast away harshly by all who they claim,
And never once calling my name.
I hear with my ears,
Innocent cries,
Escaping from young ones that die as time flies.
Not yet comprehending what their world's about,
And dying too young to find out.
I hold in my hand,
A world filled with sorrow,
Drowning in pain and the fear of tomorrow,
Weighed down with burdens and no way to cope,
But holding a glimmer of hope.
