Author's Note: This is a poem. That is all. Tell me what you think of it.

Tainted Love
By Lisa Gale

There was not attraction
But there was wine
It started a reaction
And our bodies began to twine
With your alcohol and drugs
You pulled me in
You gave me your tainted love
I committed an original sin
But I was not conscious to enjoy
This great thing
That you were to employ
Regret is all your tainted love could bring
You made me feel terrible
And all this time I couldn't see
Thinking of it again is unbearable
Why did you have to take advantage of me?
