6I wish to see
A day which I
Could play all day
No troubles in mind.
You'll hear my laughter
Ring through the air,
You'll see a smile
Finally appear.
As the hours go by
You'll see me believe,
The joy you've brought
I'm so happy I'm me.
But like time after time
Good things never last,
So as the sun sets
That day be my last.
I'll drift away
Into a darkness unknown
As sadness surrounds me-
The one I've always known.
