Persn A: I was thinking of my friend whose father drinks when I wrote
this..

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~You Don't Need Money to Sleep~
Your drunken father abuses your mother,
Your mother abuses you.
You can barely stay awake,
That goes for your sisters, too.
Now you're poorer than before,
Barely affording school,
Soon your parents will kill each other,
And there's nothing you can do.
At school, don't even think
About what you're going to eat.
Just fluff up your pillow 'cause you're tired,
And you don't need money to sleep.
Come and rest by my side,
And tell me all your fears.
I don't care how wet I get,
Just drench me with your tears.
There you lay, crying before me
Making promises you can't keep.
Drench me with your tears, my friend,
You don't need money to sleep.
Lay your head upon my shoulder
And try to get some rest,
Remember: Things need to go low
Before they can turn their best.
Persn A: The weird thing is is that I was also thinking about the movie
"Dumb & Dumber" when one of them says, "You just drove five miles in the
wrong direction! Now we don't have enough money to get there, we don't
have enough money to go back, we don't have enough money to eat, we don't
even have enough money to sleep!"
