I was sitting in my room when I heard it.
*Thud*
"OW! Shit, that hurt. Danm stairs.¨ Someone was outside my door (they were most likely male, from the sound of the voice), and they had just dropped something heavy. I decided to got up and investigate. I opened my door to see a man, most likely 6' 3¨, standing outside my room, hopping on one foot glaring at a rather large box. I couldn't see his face, but he had long black hair with blood red and white streaks in it.
"Excuse me . . . do you need any help.¨ I asked, eyeing the box wearily and praying the man said no.
The man faced me and, still looking down, put his foot on the ground. He looked up at me and smiled a warm, welcoming smile. Now, I'd known that I was gay since Middle school. All of my friends knew and had even tried to set me up with guys but I never was one for blind dates. That and I had never felt the need to go have a boyfriend. So sue me. But the man standing in front of me had to be a god or something. Nobody just looks that good naturally.
His skin was slightly tanned and accented his hair perfectly. He had totally kissable lips and high cheekbones to match. His eyebrows were thin and naturally arched giving him an elfish look. His chin was rather pointed, but went well with the rest of him, and from the tight black T he was wearing you could tell he worked out regularly. His pants seemed to be made to fit his build perfectly. But the thing that got me was his eyes. They were pure gold flecked with black and brown, all three colors blending together making an amber smoothie of warm, sexy eyes. He was VERY easy on the eyes, if ya know what I mean.
"Oh, thank the gods that SOMEBODY is decent enough to offer help. Yes. I'd love some help, if you don't mind doing so. Oh, by the by Im Tenner Alexander . . . but you can call me Hex.¨ Hex smiled at me again while holding out his hand. I gulped and took it.
"Im Alex Hexton, you can call me Ten. Everyone does.¨ At that moment we smirked at the irony of our names and nicknames. "Just let me get some shoes on and I'll help you.¨
He grinned, leaned over, pick up the box and walked down the hall.

I stared in amazement at the back of Hex's moving van. There were enough boxes and furniture to move into a fairly good sized house and have stuff left over.
"Sorry about all the box's man. My mother seems to think I can't go more then a couple of Hours without her help. I haven't the foggiest as to how she made at through High school. I mean what . . . with me moving out, getting boyfriends, paying my own bills and working for the money to do so. I don't even know why she letting me go to collage in a different state. Thank god she is though. It's hard enough living in the same town as that banshee of a woman. Well. We have an apartment to fill. Come on.¡¨ He grabbed a box and started walking back to the building; my brain was still stuck on ¡¥boyfriends¡¦. Was this god really gay? ¡§Are you going to stand there all day with your mouth open or are you going to help me?¡¨ Hex called from the steps.
`````````````````````````Several sweaty hours latter`````````````````````````````````
I set the last box in Hex's room. It was just down the hall from mine. I flopped into a comfortable position on his now fully assembled couch.
¡§So . . . you lived here long?¡¨ he asked
I couldn't help but chuck a little. At his shocked look I burst out laughing and fell to the floor. I laughed harder then I had in years. ¡§Oh god. The look on your face was priceless. And I didn't even see it.¡¨ I just laughed harder at my statement.
Hex's p.o.v-
¡§Oh dear, he's gone into another one hasn't he?¡¨ A smooth baritone male voice said from my open door. I looked up to see a fairly plain looking guy. He had light brown hair and dark blue eyes. He looked nothing like the angel rolling around on my floor. I must have looked very confused because the man smiled and said ¡§Ten has an awful tendency of going to laugh attacks like this at well anything. Normally they're not as bad as this one. I'm Bren by the way. You must be Tenner, right?¡¨
¡§Please call me Hex.¡¨ I said smiling back. I glanced down at Ten. ¡§Is he going to be ok?¡¨
¡§Yes. Hopefully. Well when he comes out of it, please tell him I set the next chapter on the bed and would like him to go over it for me. It was nice meeting you.¡¨
¡§You too. Bye.¡¨
A couple of minutes later Ten stopped laughing and grinned up at me from the floor.
¡§So.¡¨ I said. ¡§Now that Im here without knowing how to get from one place to another and already considerately lost. . . do you think you could possibly show me around?¡¨ I asked batting my eyelashes innocently.
¡§Yeah. . . I guess so.¡¨
¡§Oh yeah, Bren stopped by. Said the chapter is on the bed. He wants you to go over it this time.¡¨ I said.
¡§Thankx. Why don't you just meet outside my door tomorrow? You'll get a tour and meet me friends. See ya tomorrow.¡¨ He got up and left. Little did I know that tomorrow would ultimately lead to the best friendship I've ever had.
