I walked into the room
While you... held the door
You took your coat off
And the rain cascaded to the floor
I observed you taking my breath away
Just by standing
In a moonlit doorway

As I watched you standing there
Waiting for you to come inside
I noticed you were looking strange
Like you were trying to hide
I watched you framed in the moonlight
Whispering your prayers
Into the starlit night

And now
I don't think I'll ever move again
And I'll cry forever~ more
Cuz I know you'll never
Walk through that door
Even though I knew you didn't care from the start
And you were just playing with a young girls heart
I fell
For your stupid games and lies
You broke my heart
But now I realise
Though I've tried as hard as any woman can
I can't love you
Cuz you're nobody's man

I swear I'll always remember
The things you made me feel
My memories of you
Are smiling and surreal
And I promise you I'll try to forget
All the things you've said
That you regret

There's just one painful memory
I'll never be able to erase
The memory of that last time
I saw your face
We never kissed before we said our goodbyes
And there were no tears
In your eyes

Ever since you haven't been there
To kiss away my tears
Every time I try to stop crying
My heart disappears
I can feel your touch
Dancing on my skin
And I'm haunted
By the emptiness within
I can't find a reason
To go on
Ever since you've been gone

We never kissed before we said our goodbyes
And there were no tears
In your eyes
