It's a paradox we live in
Our children are selfish and spoilt

We bitch and moan about paying taxes
While supporting systems that cost money and erode self esteem
Our foreign policy is not concerned with other nations
And our kids aren't taught to dream
We back the home side as long as it wins
There's no loyalty in this new world stage
Homo Sapiens are intelligent
But we've created the Neolithic age
Hunters and gathers, tribes at war
The law of the jungle is the law once more
We want life to last
We want to savour the race
So in our sheer and utter brilliance
We pick up the pace
We get so frustrated
