My ten year old sister came up to me the other day and sternly said, "I don't believe in God."

"What?" I snapped in shock. "But . . . but you should."

"I don't believe in God, but I believe in good," she replied softly.

"Doesn't matter, you have to believe in Him or else . . ."

"Or else what?" she questioned innocently.

"Well, He won't let you enter the Gates of Heaven if you don't acknowledge Him."

"Even if I've never committed any sins, not a single one?" she asked with concern.

"Yes. Even if you've been good, you still have to be a follower."

"Then what about the followers who did all those bad things to kids. Where are they going?"

"If they repent, the Lord will forgive them and will lead them into Heaven."

"Hmmm . . . if God can forgive them, then why can't he mercy me?"

"Because the Bible said that Heaven is only for believers!" I answered, now annoyed.

"Yah, but the Bible says a lot of stuff. Like God created the Earth, Adam and Eve, and animals,
but it doesn't even mention dinosaurs. Who made dinosaurs?"

"Now you're just asking silly questions," I said angrily.

"No I'm not. You're just giving me silly answers," she countered.

"So, you're telling me you want to go to Hell?" I blurted out in frustration.

"Uh huh," she nodded. " I don't mind hanging out with good people like me."

I was stunned. I stared at her with my mouth wide open.

Then she shrugged her shoulders, smiled, turned around and happily skipped away.
