Sweet Choco: Yay ^-^ my first reviewer ^-^. Thanks: Mona Lisa's and Mad Hatters. Yay a review ^-^ here's: (Johnny :P) Chapter Four.^-^

Ten Blocks From Sanity

I didn't do much yesterday. I simply slept and thought of those people out there that might be dying, but I wasn't spider man and I couldn't fly around the city and all-of-a-sudden find crime. I had to do it the old fashion way, use a blind "future seeing" lady. Awe, so typical. Ray had left me a note after I had left the cliff, it was lying on the counter when I got home. It simply said: I will be back in the equivalent of 35 minutes. My Agenda is of course with me as you have no plans today, you may clean your room, take a shower, clean the living room, kitchens, and anything else that needs cleaning. I'll be home before you finish checking up on your work, and most probably leaving again. -Ray.

He could have put -Love, Ray. But nooo! I threw the note out, the house was clean enough. Plus, who WANTS to clean? (Besides Ray, he doesn't count. He's not human) So today equals no action, no fun, no nothing. So, being the cool person I am, I went to bed. How creative, eh?

~~Dream~~

I was standing at a cliff. I think. It was that cliff, the one where that suicide man and I were, and where Jason and I talked. It was me, sort of, it was like being trapped INSIDE me. Jason then came walking up behind me, I think. I didn't turn around to see him though. I couldn't, I just knew he was there. I started talking, but I couldn't hear anything I was saying, I was just watching my mouth flap open and closed.

Suddenly, Jason starting walking towards me. He took a step forward...and I saw him...he...was...he was crying...

~~End Of Dream :P~~

My eyes blinked open, and I stared ahead at the nothingness before me. It was a brand new day, and quite honestly I felt like sleeping through the whole thing. That whole "I woke up and felt refreshed" thing is only for people like me that wake up around 2 p.m. Oh come on, Bio-Androids need sleep too you know.

I didn't even think about the dream that much, nor did I tell Ray as he hurried me through everything to go see Mari. He's such a nuisance, really. 'come on! Move it!' I swear I'm going to shove my food down HIS throat next time. Finally, after much yelling, we were on our wonderful way *snicker*.

Mari looked a bit better, but it's hard to tell when she does the same thing every morning. Sit in bed, turn the TV on, and pretend to watch it. She listens to it, but I mean honestly. You have to *see* most things. But then again, she can foresee the future so who knows, you know? *laughs*

"Hey! How are you?" I asked in my most cheerful way, racing to her side and grabbing her death-cold hands. They were so ewe wrinkly. Ok, that wasn't nice.. *sigh*

"I'm fine, dear. Go sit down, I'm ready today." I smiled, kissed her cheek and took my seat. I decided today I'd listen in case I lose any of the important information. But, once someone starts talking a person kind of just starts zoning out. Take me for instance, I'll be thinking "ok, must pay attention. Unlike that time, a few days ago when I wasn't listening. Wasn't Ray biting his nails? He looked so odd. he always looks odd. Like when he had his head sticking out that window the other day.."

And you just kind of keep going until you completely forget what it is your supposed to be listening to, not that you don't catch a few bits of important info here and there, or pretty sucky information. But hey, at least I get the information at times.

"But it'll be in a few days. its going to be a boy. and he's going to jump. of the cliff.." For some odd reason, that was all I got. I never knew she did day's away events! I mean, if she does that then why the heck do we come here on a 'day-to-day' basis? This sucks. Ray sucks.. I suppose I should say 'I suck' next, but I don't. Really, I don't.

Ray then began shaking me, flipping closed his G.O.A. (didn't I tell you that would be here through out the whole story? Hah! I can foresee the future too. I foresee you sitting there reading this thinking "God I wish there was something else to do." That's not foreseeing though, that's just a known fact ^-^) We walked out, and I went the extra mile of hugging Mari. Then I followed Ray, who just curtly said 'bye'.

"Ok, and today's events, Master Ray?" I asked, leaning bored like up against the wall. He stood all professional like in front of me, flipping open his G.O.A. Here we begin to wonder why he flipped it shut in the first place. But hush, don't ask him, he'll lecture me.

"Ok, well um.. Hmm. At 8:32 around the docks, a young child is going to fall in the water were a boat will either run him over, or wont if you save him. A gang fight at 9:16 in the East Side of town, around Parkinson Street. Um, then that's it till 12 o'clock where another gang will be beating a young innocent person. No, wait. Hmm. no because that won't come until Midnight, got that? Midnight, person beating, gang, outside a club called 'Club Love'..what a stupid name. I bet their business-"

"HEY JASON!" I hollered at Jason who was again running down the hallway. I wanted Ray to shut up, he just kept going on and on like a wind up toy, and to be quite frank, he's annoying if you don't stop him, and stop him QUICK!

"Zeta! What are you doing here? Oh, of course duh!" I could already see Ray mimicking Jason, Ray has a 'thing' against Jason for an unknown reason. I'm guessing it's because Jason has blonde hair, and Ray has black. Or maybe because Jason isn't such a 'plan-plan-man'. Who the heck cares? (remember, no cuss words ^-^.)

"Yeah, you working today again?" I asked calmly as he caught his breath.

"Work? Oh! Of course yeah, Mari won't lay off about that. 'HURRY UP JASON! I can foresee you being late!'" I laughed, all though it really wasn't funny, it's just how he said it. In a funny way, you know? I liked the voices Jason could do; Ray can't do anything besides the professional voice, but for him that's just natural. Jason's special *dreamy eyes*..I do not have a crush on Jason. I repeat; I do not have a crush on Jason. He's my best friend! Anyway, he's human. I'm not. Bad match. Very, very, very bad. Notice my short little sentences? Yeah, so do I. Although, I like them unlike *you* (said with disgust, by the way.)

"O ok. Well sense its about eight, I should be off. You know, child near death situation around 8:30 or something." I turned to leave, and I saw Jason turn to Ray to talk, and that instant I realized just how different they were. Jason had green eyes, Ray had boring brown ones, Jason was tan, Ray was as pale as you can get, Jason was calm and relaxed, and Ray looked ready to 'jump-to-the-rescue-of-a-falling-pot'. And plus, Jason were calming clothes, while Ray wore formal shirts and khaki pants. Ewe.

I left them then, to attend to more important matters. Such as, oh I don't know, the kid near death situation? Yes, that seems much more important. I climbed up to the rooftops, where I began jumping and running on them. I'm sure the people inside are very happy about hearing a 'bang, bang, bang' on their roof. My feet clanged on purple roofs, black roofs, brown roofs and anything you can imagine. When it was 8:09 it began raining, and I hit a tin roof. Not good, if you ask me.

My foot hit it, and my whole head flew back in surprise as I slipped. I fell sideways, sliding down the pitched roof. I landed on my left arm, leaving a nasty bruise, and skidded near the railings where my right foot kicked the rain pipes, and I stopped immediately. It felt nice, just laying there with a red mark on my left arm, my right foot in a rain pipe, lying out in the rain. Mm, life *is* good to the last drop.

I began to scramble up, which wasn't easy, and walked carefully hunched over to the next roof, which thank God had plating and stuff. It was a lot easier to walk on that, rather then on that tin roof, but the rain was still falling so I had to be careful either way.

At about 8:23 I reached the docks, which were secluded from the town, about a mile away. A single road leads to and from the docks, which were pretty plain. A few buildings, and the actual DOCKS. A bunch of smelly fish lined the wooden docks, and a lot of old boats were pulling in and out. Of course, we don't get the high tech stuff down here, just up in the fake space stations. Several kids were playing hopscotch, fishing, or running around, of course non were swimming though. I saw the boy I was to be looking for. He had sandy blonde hair, dark forest green eyes, really skinny, and stood at about 4'3. He looked so lonely way over there, all by himself. I walked over to him, smiling as I came closer. All I had to do, was take him away from the docks and he'd be fine. This, I know, will be very easy.

"Hey." I said, smiling and kneeling down before him. "What are you doing?"

He looked up startled, and stared at me unblinkingly. Its cute when little kids do that, but annoying when older people do it. That's your notification to never do that, you look stupid, I should know.

"..hi." He squeaked out, his lips barely moving. Awe, he's so cute!

"Why aren't you playing with your friends?"

"Sandy's my only fwiend. she's sick." he looked really sad. You know, if I'm going to have to help the sick girl Mari could have warned me so I could have eaten something. I'm getting hungry, and I think I have to go potty. Plus, I'm not good with kids. They don't like me, I'm not really playful.

"Oh. Want to play with me then?" I smiled and he looked down, fidgeting slightly.

".what awe we going to p-play?" He looked cold, drenched down by the rain like that. I actually felt sorry for him, but to be honest, I wanted to take him home, shove him in a chair and eat something because I'm STARVING! Ray must have shoved the food so far down that it went in, and out quicker then I could taste it. Not that I would have wanted to taste it, Ray made it.

"We could play a game away from the docks. Like a puzzle or something. You look cold, want to go grab your jacket from your home?"

"Mom would get mad if I came home now."

"Why?" I'm pretty sure I looked worried, because I sure as heck felt worried.

" Because dads not home, and if I go home before him I'm home to eawy." Eawy?! What the-oooo. EARLY! God dang-it! (No cuss words, mind you.)

"Oh, is your mommy a mean old hag?" HAG!? Oh my gosh! Did I just say that to him?! He's probably like 5 or something -.- what a reputation I'm going for.

"Hag? What's a hag, lady?" Lady? Awe! He thinks I'm a lady! Awe! That's so cute! .. Wow. a lot of things are cute.

"My name's Zeta. What's yours? A hag is um. a nice person." A nice person? Oh great cover up Zeta.

"Michael. Michael Dean Wichards. And no, Mom isn't a hag. She's a mean old pewson!" (Authors Note: Wichards= Richards)

"Oh! Well that's.." I looked at my watch, 8:31, one more minute. Best get him away.

"Well then come on, I have a spare coat at my home I bet! Or we could buy one on the way, hmm? I could buy you a puzzle to!" Ok now I feel like spoiling the kid rotten. It's not like I couldn't, because I could. Didn't I mention my father was a GENIUS? Dude, he got a lot of money, man. Ha Ha Ha.

"Awight!" He grabbed my hand. His hand was like Mari's, tiny, soft, and frail. So cold.

"Let us be off, Michael!" We walked away from the docks, and a minute later a boat came up. It pulled up next to where Michael had been sitting, and would have fallen in (if not for special me). We walked to a clothes shop, where I bought Michael a sweater, and a rain coat. The sweat was small and thin, and I only got it because the insides of most Rain coats are not good feeling. And the rain coat, was of course, to keep the rain off him. We then bought a puzzle, just a small easy one, and sat in a park and played with it, continuing talking. I found out that he was about 5 ¾, he doesn't like his mom, his dad is barely home, and his sister ran away. Life for him must be tough. *sigh*. I can't take him with me. He wasn't a lost kitten, I couldn't just take him home. He's much more responsibility, and plus that's kidnapping. But, I didn't want to send him home. I don't know. I don't know much really. So I took him home, promising I'd come back over daily. A promise I meant to keep.

I looked at my watch, finding it to be 8:55, I had to 9:16 to get on the East Side and either break up the fight, or fight in it and *then* break it up. Hey, I like action too! So I began the long journey there in the rain. I was soaked through, and I'm sure my hair looked like crap, and I know my outfit did. I could see it, after all. That's when I thought about how stupid I was to not have bought myself a jacket. I mean, really. I am really stupid at times.

When I got there, it was 9:14, and there were gangs yelling at each other. Pathetic gangs, normal every day gangs. Gangs trying to make a name for themselves and not be the little people. Little people toys ^-^. They were verbally threatening each other, and some held up their fists to 'show' what they were going to do to the other people. Looked like about 6 people to the . ok fine, Gang A is Purple gang, and Gang B is Orange Gang. Ok so about 6 people in Purple, and about..1.2...5..7 people in Orange. Oh yeah *cracks knuckles* this is going to be fun *jumps for joy in head, so as to not look like a freak in front of Purple and Orange gang.* I walked up, and they all turned towards me, and suddenly everything went silent.

"What do you want, whore?" WHORE!? DID HE-ooooo. Calm down, be calm. Deep breathes, REALLY deep breathes.

"I'm not a whore! YOU'RE A BIG MEANIE!"..mature mature.

Sweet Choco: ok you'll have to find out about the fight next time ^-^.
