First of all, I'm afraid this story is going to be confusing. So PLEASE if you find anything confusing at all, review. It is very important to me that I make this story as clear as possible.
This story is actually based off a language I have created (and am currently in the process of touching up). Because of this, it is not uncommon for the characters to use words from the language. In general, I will just say "So-and-so said blah blah in this language." But that gets real boring real fast, so I will be sprinkling in words and phrases occasionally. Because of this, I will include a dictionary at the bottom of each chapter with any new words in it and what language it's from. This also means if you read a word that you don't know and it's not at the bottom of the page, you've probably seen it already and just forgotten, so check back at the pages before it.
The Delkein language is not really developed at all. I'm working on that. There is a very good chance there will be inconsistencies. If you find an inconsistency in the language, point it out for me please.
The Nuke (Dwarven) language is also not very developed, but I've got the feel of it currently. It uses kind of hard sounding letters, and n and k with be used a lot.
The Tzin language is the first language I created and almost finished. It's sort of Asian in sound, though whether it's Asian in mechanic I have no idea because I've never studied any Asian languages. This, by the way, will probably be the most common language used.
I also have cultures and customs created for the three different peoples living in this area, as well as a map, neighboring peoples, history, customs and culture for each people, etc. etc. etc. If you haven't figured it out yet, I've worked very hard on this. However, I don't want to put up pages and pages worth of explanation. But if you are interested in knowing more about this world, review. If a lot of people sound interested I may write another story about the history and customs of these peoples.
Finally, I'd just like to say . Hope you like it!

The night was heavy with silence. The moon rose to the south, as red as the blood that had been spilled only that evening. Smoke wounds up into the inky, black sky. Fearfully, the villagers of Loim stared out of their windows. They knew what the signs meant. Ariid, another village, had been destroyed. A terrible cry pierced the air, half-beast and half-human. Whatever it was-beast, man, dwarf, magic, divinity-it would not rest until all of Tzang was destroyed. Children cried, and mothers tried to comfort them, all the while knowing any day could be their last. Would-be heroes struck out nearly every day to conquer the nightmare attacking them. None were ever heard of again. The greatest empire ever known was slowly disintegrating beneath the relentless onslaught of the nameless horror.
