This was no ordinary dream. While I dreamt, it seemed so real, but now that I think back, I could never believe it happened.
This happened three years ago, when I was fifteen. I couldn't get to sleep, so I was rolling around in bed, trying to get into a good position. I kept staring at the ceiling, the wall, my bed, my feet, the inside of my eyelids, but none of it worked. I even tried reading. At two in the morning, I was still awake, and that was when it happened.
One moment, I was in my nice, safe room, the next, I was in a world filled with sparkle, fire, vampires, and apples.
It was day, and the vampires were asleep in their sparkly coffins. There were flaming apple trees, and I was hungry. So, I picked an apple. When it was two inches away from my mouth, a worm popped out. It said, "Lousy Quallie Doos won't leave me alone! Let go of my house!" That was when a monkey with the worm as its tail emerged from the apple and started to chase me. I ran for my life, peeking behind me to see if the worm- monkey was still there. It was. The monkey had no face, except for the face on his tail which was the worm.
Suddenly, it was night. I was running towards a vampire, but right when we were about to collide, he vanished. That made me run right into the coffin. I heard the coffin door slam behind me.
The coffin transformed into a bathroom. It was like one you would find in a house, with no stalls. But, it had five toilets, and no sinks. There was a large mirror on the ceiling. I looked at my reflection. Large green eyes, short blond hair, freckles across my nose. . . Suddenly, a fairy took my reflection's place and said, "You may have three wishes. The rules are simple: No wishing for more wishes, and no two in ones."
So, my first reaction was to say, "I wish I was the richest person in the world!"
