"So where is the school?" Destiny asked conversationally as they continued to walk.

"A couple blocks that way, it's not an exciting place," He replied with a smile.

"Oh..." Destiny said sarcasitically, "That's kind of weird, up in Cali we all love school."

"Well, surfer girl, this is Texas. We love the summer, although the heat and mosquitoes are over-rated."

"Surfer girl?" Destiny raised an eyebrow at him.

"Yea, you said you were from Cali, so it kind of implies you surfed." Jack replied like it was the most common thing in the world.

"Hate to burst your bubble, cowboy, but we didn't live near the water." Destiny informed him.

"Tragic," Jack replied, he was practically born in water, "although I must say, that is first time I have been called a cowboy. I'm not sure if I like it. I haven't ridden a horse since I was in trail mates."

"Oh how horrible." Destiny rolled her eyes.

"Actually its not, I prefer my bike anyways." Jack ignored her sarcasm.

Destiny just rolled her eyes, yet again.

"What kind of music do you listen to?" Jack asked, motioning to her headphones.

"All sorts, country, rap, pop, Christian, oldies, lots of stuff, EXCEPT definitely not classical." Destiny shuddered.

"So basically you're a music junky?" Jack asked.

"Music junky?" Destiny inquired with a raised eyebrow.

"Yea you know, guys who will listen to just about everything and anything. I think you qualify for the title." Jack informed her.

"Gee, thanks." Destiny replied dryly.

"Anytime," Jack smiled. This guy seemed immune to Destiny's sarcasm.

"Isn't it this one?" Destiny started turning down one of the paths that she thought she had come from.

"No Blondie," Jack steered her in the opposite direction; "we're headed this way."

"Oh," Destiny responded. "Hey! Don't call me Blondie!"

Jack just laughed and poked her in the side at her obviously slow reaction.

Destiny squirmed away and Jack's laughter increased.

Eventually they reached Destiny's new house at Jack decided it was time to say good-bye.

"Adios, Destiny. See ya tomorrow." Jack waved as she made her way up the drive.

"You will?" Destiny questioned curiously.

"School, Blondie, School." Jack laughed as he turned away.

"Alright then, bye!" Destiny continued to walk up the drive in hopes of finding dinner.
