Why can't you see?
She needs to be free.
The world awaits her
Yet you hold her in capture.
She's your angel
Yet you sentence her to hell
She needs to breathe
And it's making me seethe
I want to show you, make you realize
But you only see through your eyes
If you hold her to tight she'll die
So I can't let this dog lie.
You're just using her to feel happy
But you won't let her be free
Now that she wants to fly
You shackle her to your side
