You're not the same one I used to know,
that one that I once loved.
Not my other part, my other half of soul.
No longer my companion.
What happened? To us? To you and me?
Why must he force us apart?
I try so hard, for just one-
one last affection filled glance,
but no matter is I to you any longer.
For you gaze can fall upon no other than he.
as all he does is watch you,
with eyes of utter ignorance,
while I look on, in agony.
Can't you see what he's doing?
Slowly wrenching us apart?
Or are you blind now, like the rest?
Bedazzled by his new beauty?
