Warning: In this story, there are going to be two boys that like each other, or as I refer to it, yaoi. If you are close minded and hate the thought, get the hell out. If you're open minded, then please do keep reading and... YOU ROCK!
Kokero Shizumi was borred. As a matter of fact, the term borred didn't even begin to describe his current condition. So out of a new level of bordem, Kokero focused his thoughts on one of the mountains a mile or two away. He snapped his fingers. The mountain exploded into nothing but a pile of rubble. The surrounding soldiers jumped at the explosion. Kokero continued to ride on his horse as his army wondered what the heck was going on.
"Sir, I must ask that you not do that here! The Air Temple is near by. It would be disasterous if you destroyed it," said Kokero's advisor.
Kokero glared at the poor advisor with his yellow eyes underneith crimson red hair. he was about to say something when someone else came up. This person had red and gold hair with dark crimson eyes.
"Leave Lord Kokero alone. The Air Temple is far from here. Go mind yourself now," said the boy.
The advisor rode off in a huff muttering something about stuck up eighteen year olds and how they shouldn't be lords or rulers.
Kokero looked to his savior. "Thanks Solanu. He's been getting on my nerves a lot lately."
The boy named Solanu smiled. "No prob Kokero."
Kokero gave a slight smile back. "What would I do without you?"
"Hmph... You'll live."
Kokero looked back to the mountain he had destroyed. Yet, it wasn't so destroyed anymore. The mountain was glowing and the rocks and stone were rebuilding.
"Solanu, do you see what I see over there?" asked Kokero while pointing to the slowly rebuilding mountain.
Solanu looked and his eyes widened. "If you see the mountain you destroyed rebuilding itself, then yes."
Kokero's eyes narrowed. "Then let's go see who can rebuild a mountain. A change of direction! Towards that mountain!" ordered Kokero to his troops.
All the soldiers looked to the partially rebuilt mountain.
"Who has the power to do that?"
"I heard that those who are sworn devoties to the Earth element can get great powers to heal the earth."
"No way can doing that let you fix a mountain."
"Will you all just shut up and go!" shouted Kokero.
All the soldiers fell quiet and changed direction. Kokero raced ahead followed by Solanu. After a small bit, they reached the half rebuilt mountain. There stood another boy. His long blue hair was tied back while the rest whipped around his face. His blue green eyes stared calmly at the mountain. Power was radiating from his extened hands. That same power was fixing the mountain.
"Hold it right there!" shouted Kokero. "Who are you?"
The boy tore himself away from his work and faced Kokero. It was then that Kokero noticed that this boy was primarily physically weak. Not in the sense that his immune system was weak or anything like that. He had a feminine sort of body type and he didn't seem like the fighting type.
"I have no reason to tell you my name." said the boy.
"You don't know who you're dealing with." Kokero snapped his fingers with a smirk. One of his soldiers attacked with his sword. In a flash, the boy had defended with his own sword, but was struggling.
'Lunaru,' thought the boy. 'Help me...'
Suddenly, there was a flash of silver coming down from the mountains. It near flew past and grabbed the boy before running off. Solanu had seen the whole thing and the boy.
"Shit." he cursed before chasing after them with Kokero.
Meanwhile the silver blur carrying the boy had stopped in the forests. The blur turned out to be another boy. Short silver hair, light blue eyes, a tallish masculine figure, this was Lunaru.
"Shijiko, what am I going to do with you? I know I'm your best friend and I know that I swore to protect you since you're a healer, but you are just getting into too much trouble for a healer."
Shijiko looked to Lunaru. "It's not my fault. Besides, I saw-"
At that moment, Kokero and his army had caught up with them.
"Shit." cursed Lunaru as he motioned to grab Shijiko and run again, but Shijiko stopped him.
"Why do you go through all this trouble just to know my name?" asked Shijiko.
"Because, I want to know the one who can fix a mountain." said Kokero.
"Then tell me your name first."
Kokero looked taken aback. "You don't know who I am? I am Lord Kokero Shizumi. Also known as the Destroyer God. Now what is your name?"
Shijiko did not waver if shock or anything. he remanied calm. "I am Shijiko Tsubume. I am but a simple healer. Are you satisfied now?"
"Why does a healer carry a sword?"
"For self defense."
"Why not a staff?"
"I prefer the sword."
Kokero grew annoyed at Shijiko's calm attitude. He showed no respect to him when he was a powerful lord.
"Hmm... I don't like your attitude. Kill him." ordered Kokero.
Before they could attack, Lunaru grabbed Shijiko and jumped away.
"Fire the arrows!" shouted Kokero.
Hundreds of arrows were shot at Lunaru. One hit him in the leg.
"Damn!" swore Lunaru as they decended a short distance away. Shijiko imedately went to Lunaru's leg. "No Shijiko. Leave me. Go before they catch you."
Shijiko pulled the arrow out in one swift motion. Lunaru cried out again. "I'm not leaving you here."
Shijiko placed his hands above the wound and started to consentrate. As it healed, Kokero's army surounded them. When he was done, Shijiko finally looked at all the soldiers surounding them, pointing their swords. He looked above them to see Kokero and Solanu.
"I've got you now!" shouted Kokero.
Suddenly Shijiko's eyes glowed. "Not yet!" All of a sudden, all Kokero's soldiers were sent hurtling back. Some hit ground while others hit trees. Shijiko looked up at Kokero, eyes still glowing. "I can do more than just heal with my powers."
"Get up all you lazy pigs! Attack!" ordered Kokero again. "You too Solanu."
Solanu nodded. He charged on his horse. Shijiko saw him coming. His eyes widened before narowing. Solanu few off his horse and landed in the grass, not bothering to get up again. The other soliders attacked. They met with the same fate except into trees.
"Now I'm going to kill you." said Shijiko while pointing his sword at Kokero. "No one hurts my friends."
"You don't have the strength." growled Kokero.
"No... But I can throw you around until you die!"
Kokero suddenly flew off his horse and his back hit a tree. Groaning, he was thrown against another. He cracked open one eye. Shijiko threw him again. Kokero glared at him and snapped his fingers. The ground infront of Shijiko exploded throwing him back. All Kokero's soldiers came forth and held Shijiko and Lunaru. Solanu got up and looked at the two, noticing Lunaru's stare.
"Damn... I'm in deep shit." muttered Solanu as his mind was hit with a ton of screaming, scolding, explaining and yelling from his imagination.
Kokero slightly staggered over. "You know what, I've decided not to kill you anymore healer. Instead, you'll be coming with us as our healer. Not many can hurt me like this. I'll expect you to heal the damage, Shijiko. Get them some horses and make sure we have extra tents!" yelled Kokero as his soldiers disbanded and started about getting and checking for what he asked for.
Shijiko said nothing, knowing that resistance would be futile. If Kokero could destroy a mountain, he could surely destroy him. Lunaru came up to him and rested a hand on his shoulder.
"You alright?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine."
Later that night, Kokero and his army had moved out of the forest and made camp a good five miles away from said forest. Shijiko was currently tending to the wounds of the soldiers that he had harmed. All of them glared at him as he healed them all, but Shijiko remained calm and talked to them all as he healed each one. Kokero looked at him as he did, noticing that Shijiko didn't have an attitude then and that he was actually quite the sterotype of a healer. Kind, gentle, soft hearted, everything you'd expect a healer to be rather than the side that everyone saw in the forest. After healing all the soldiers and Kokero to whom he said nothing, Shijiko retreated to his tent that Kokero had given him. He plopped against one of the chairs that he had materialized before moving to the bed he pulled out of nowhere. Shijiko had to admit, having magic rocked. As he started closing his eyes, Lunaru came in. They were sharing the tent.
"I see you've made yourself at home."
"Yeah, I guess."
"Get some rest. You have to be tired after all that happened today. I'll be outside standing watch." said Lunaru as he started to go back outside.
"Just promise me you'll get some sleep too." said Shijiko from his bed.
Lunaru looked at him and smiled. "Of course I will."
Feeling satisfied with that, Shijiko curled up and started off trying to sleep. Lunaru walked out of the tent and sat on a tree branch of the tree that was right next to the tent. An hour later, Lunaru sensed someone near by. When he realized who it was, he relaxed. This person sat next to him, kicking his legs and staring down.
"It's been a while hasn't it Lunaru." said the person.
Lunaru leaned his head against the person's shoulder. The person put an arm around Lunaru's waist. "It hasn't been too long Solanu." said Lunaru.
Solanu put his head on Lunaru's. "I hope you know, I had nothing to do with Kokero's actions today."
"I know."
"Shijiko's grown up a bit, hasn't he."
"Yeah, you should know. He hit you didn't he?"
"Yeah, he's gettin stronger like that. Makes me wish that I never left our little circle."
Lunaru stopped leaning on Solanu's shoulder and looked him in the eyes. "I've missed you so much Solanu."
Solanu closed the distance between them in a sweet kiss. One that the two hadn't shared in three years. Lunaru wrapped his arms around Solanu's neck and Solanu pulled him closer. The two broke for air a minute later.
"It's... been... too long since... we've done that..." panted out Lunaru.
Solanu held Lunaru's slightly smaller frame closer still. "Way too long."
"What do you say to getting re-aquainted?" asked Lunaru.
Solanu raised an eye brow. "How long have we been apart?"
"Three years Solanu."
"Then let's."
The two jumped off the branch and ran into Solanu's tent where they would be for the rest of the night getting "re-aquainted".
Okay, I know what you all are thinking, but no. Solanu and Lunaru are not the main pair in this story, although I might just give them a lemon in the future... Anyway, if it wasn't any more obvious, you should already know who the main pairing consists of. One's name starts with an S and the other a K. Get it now? Good. I thought you would. Now tell me what you think. I like reviews a lot. They help me write. If I don't get any, you don't get chapters or stories! The horror!
