Breaking Barriers: Epilouge- Future of the Flame

Warning: In this story, there are going to be two boys that like each other, or as I refer to it, yaoi. If you are close minded and hate the thought, get the hell out. If you're open minded, then please do keep reading and... YOU ROCK!

"Come on! Hurry up!"

A small boy ran ahead. His dark brown hair shined in the sun as his red eyes sparkled. As this boy ran, Akiren chased him, now looking about seventeen.

"I'm going to catch you!" shouted Akiren as he chased after the boy.

"Don't kill yourselves!" called out Kiyuuji.

"Yeah, take it easy! We have the whole day!" shouted Kennji.

As Akiren and the boy continued to run ahead in the park, Kiyuuji and Kennji walked behind slowly, hands and fingers intertwined. Kiyuuji's hand in particular had a golden band around one of its fingers. As they walked, Kiyuuji leaned his head against Kennji's shoulder. Kennji looked at him for a minute before smiling.

"It's such a nice day. Good thing we packed lunch. They're going to want to play all day." said Kiyuuji as he smiled and held up a basket.

"Yeah..." There was silence as the two walked on, slowly catching up to the running pair. "I love you Kiyuuji Fuukemi."

Kiyuuji seemed startled for a moment before relaxing and smiling again. "And I love you too Kennji Fuukemi."

The two stopped and their lips met gently.

"Kennji... Kennji! Snap out of it!"

"Huh? What?"

Kennji blinked and rubbed his eyes before shaking his head, trying to clear it. There was no park. No Akiren, no boy. They were back in their room. The book shelves and closets were empty. Besides those, there were only the beds left in the room. Kennji realized that there was a bag in his hand. Then he remembered, they were done with the school. They were going to move in with Kiyuuji's parents until they could get a house of their own.

"Come on Kennji. Let's go." said Kiyuuji while smiling.

"Yeah..."

As the two walked down to the front desk of the dorm to leave their keys, Kennji kept pondering what was it that he saw.

'It wasn't a dream... Or was it? No, it was too real... Kiyuuji's smile, Akiren, the boy... Wait! Boy? Then that means...' Kennji left it at that as Kiyuuji left the keys in an envelope and gave it to the person atending the desk before the two left the dorm. It was then that Kennji realized what he saw. It wasn't a dream, but a vision of a future to come.

And so this story comes to an end. It's a shame really. I kind of wanted it to be longer. I guess if I want it to be long, it won't be long. But it's good enough me I guess. As long as I added plenty of fluff, romance, angst, and you all are happy with just one lemon, then everything is okay! There was this one scene I wanted to put in where Kiyuuji fires a fire ball at someone like he's firing a gun because of something, but I never really found a place to put it in that seemed good enough... Maybe I should have put it in the date chapter... But then again, nobody would have really bothered him that much any way. Meh, I might as well save the idea. Oh! Please be sure to read my next story: Wait For Me. I'll be sure to try and get it out soon. Okay, please review this story one last time and thanks for reviewing! All of you! THANK YOU!
