The sobbing and the cries,
Began to fade away,
The life which she had lived,
Was ending now today,
The faces which she loved,
Would not see her again,
And as her eyes did close,
The reel began again,
Only just a rumor,
The truth it soon became,
She saw herself at birth,
Held in her father's arms,
And standing on a stage,
Graduate scroll in palm,
She looked at a bouquet,
As she walked the aisle,
She saw her young son's life,
Growing through every age,
And turned to see his wife,
Holding a small baby,
She saw the times the times she laughed,
And the tears she had shed,
All those thoughts and feelings,
The scenes of just one life,
The life of a mother,
Daughter, friend and wife.
