A night of rainbows

Love is a thing of rainbows
That many try to hide
But soon dawn will rise
Feelings realized

A fear lights in our hearts
Of no love being shared
Will they hate you
Will they be un-immune

Not a life of glory
Many see it as a life of shame
To love one of ones self
Many see it as a bane

But never it has been
But for when they speak
Raising there banners
Shouting in disgust

Love is a thing of rainbows
The colors and the lights
Felling one another
Even in a different life

It will be the only true form
Of transcending the ages
Still finding one another
From one to another places

Masks are implored
Face shadowed with doubt
Bodies seep into the dark
Hearts dieing

Color fades over time
Lights lose there power
Fear crushes our souls
Love gives up on us

It is to far gone
To shattered
To broken
To torn

Thread is put in place
Faces plastered with smiles
Happiness painted upon our faces
Hearts replaced with stones

Lights and colors are a taboo
It hurts our eyes
Rubs the paint
Warms the heart

Fire burns the ashes
Ashes to ashes
Fire to burn
Ashes to ashes

A city falls
Another is built
Plaster and foam
Replace everything

People become to afraid
Of fallings
Strings in there hearts
Tell them not the truth

The city lights are false
Luminescent and fake
Lighting up the painted faces
Dampening the shine of the fire

What is now is not
What was then is but a distant shadow
The city of nothing
Replacing

The city of rainbows
