Standing upon a green hill.
A little boy
Flying a colorful kite.
A small gray squirrel
Climbing to the high branches.
A small gray cloud
Settled among the fluffy white.
A black crow
Flies across the sky
The white clouds
Slowly turning gray.
The faint sound of thunder
Growing louder with each breath.
The dark gray clouds
Covering the light of the sun.
A flash of lightning and rumble of thunder
Alarming the young child.
One small white cloud
Sitting in the dark mass.
Innocence is that frightened child.
Innocence is that one white cloud.
