Dozing off in the middle of the night
Sleeping peacefully without a fright.
I look at you filled with joy
Then you squinted like you were annoyed.
You seem so peaceful sleeping like this
I can't help but steal a kiss.
I was surprised finding your embrace
Our body tangled we come face to face.
Locking eyes with you never fell to amaze me
I've known always we were meant to be.
I opened my eyes to a world of loneliness
And felt my heart filled with emptiness.
I found myself wide awake
I wonder how much more of this I can take.
Before I completely go insane
Without you it's just not the same.
I closed my eyes as I drifted off once more
My future is wit you I'm sure
Then I realized something new
I'm only dreaming the dreams of you.
