Ch 3: Bunnie Fun
BBall4lifeBBall4ever:so, how was the station? Prinzessgraceless03:don't ask. Lets just say, after a whole hour of jazz, I had to drink TWO cappacinos to stay awake during Alson's class.
Prinzessgraceless03: do you have ne idea what it's like to be half-asleep and completely wired that when your eyelids droop, they start to twitch and u can't sit still?
BBall4lifeBBall4ever:lol
BBall4lifeBBall4ever:unfortunately yes. But hey, you survived. Prinzessgraceless03:yea:-D and I didn't blow anything up.
BBall4lifeBBall4ever: and that's a miracle right there. lol BBall4lifeBBall4ever:woops time for Jen to call. Ttyl Prinzessgraceless03:k. byas
~And there he goes..~ That old Six Pence None the Richer Song popped into my head. Ok it's kind of sad when old pop songs tell your non-existent love life. I thought ranting to Ben would have cheered me up some. No such luck. I hear the Simpson's theme song start playing and grabbed my cell phone.
"CHRISS! Hey what's up?" I asked, delighted to hear from my best-friend since 6th grade. "Heya Tinkles." came her reply. I rolled my eyes at the forever stuck nickname and grinned wanting to get her back. "So Piss, bout time you called me back." We both chuckled and Chriss slyly asked "Where's the Bunnies? Are they making Bunnie fun?" I scrunched my nose up and replied "Marie and Nick are thankfully at his dorm. Or at least I think they are. They've been gone since I got back." Chriss chuckled, still thinking about the time that I happened to walk in on my roommate and her boyfriend 'mating' on the floor. Our new nickname for them was the Bunnies because they went at it so much.
"So how was your first official day as a DJ? Did you talk to that station manager guy?" ~Well I definitely made a great first impression.~ "Yea, we talked some, managed to not blow anything up, made an idiot of a typical first." Chriss laughed and said "Ok. How did you make an idiot of yourself? You didn't fall asleep did you?" I laughed and quickly told her about TJ overhearing my rant. "Oh well that's not too back. He'll hear more complaining before the semester's over." I laughed and just said "Probably." We talked for a little while longer, then she left to watch her little brothers while I decided to go to go bed before Marie came in and turned all the lights on.
The next couple of weeks started flying by as I slowly learned my way around the station and my first exams were coming up. I saw less and less of Ben and the guys from Griffy High. The high school's homecoming was coming up and Jen was coming back home to see Ben and meet all of us. I couldn't wait. NOT. But I had a few more days to prepare myself and my radio shift to do so I thought I might survive.
::A/N Sorry it took so long to update guys. I'm on winter break and bored out of my mind so I'll try to crank out another chapter before Christmas.::
