How many of us
Really feel?
Have we hardened ourselves
Against the bad
So much that we cannot feel
The good?
Is the happiness that would shine
Down upon us like
Sunshine in July
Being blocked
By our clouded minds?
What has happened
That we must be like this,
Hiding our talents
So we will not be ridiculed?
