Strangeness

Visions of ghosts, and unseen things,

Flashes of light, and thunder that rings.

Monsters that crawl, under the earth,

Night that falls, in eternal rebirth.

Mysteries of love, and true friendship,

Angels above, and sins to remit.

Strange romances, some possible, most not,

Heroic stances, like super-heroes on pot.

Persons unknown, both male and female,

Love that is shown, both to succeed and to fail.

Visions of the future, glances at the past,

Love that is pure, images that last.

Persons long forgot, brought back to memory,

Fears of what is not, and unknown destiny.

All this and more, in your favorite nightmare or dream,

Strangeness galore, less real than what may seem.
