"Lisa?"
The girl smiled. "Hey, Jesse. How are you holding up?"
Jesse hugged her. He didn't want to let go. "Don't leave me again. I need you."
"Lexi needs you, Jesse. You have to let go of me. Go to Lexi. She loves you more than anyone in the world," Lisa told him.
"What if she leaves me too? I don't know what I'm going to do."
"She'll survive. Trust me." Lisa started fading away. "Don't let her go, Jesse."

-45 years later-
"Seven years later Jesse and Lexi got married and lived happily ever after," 10-year-old Sammy finished for her grandma. She had heard that story a thousand times and still not bored of it.
"That's right. Now it's time for you to go to sleep," Lexi said. She tucked her granddaughter in bed and shut the door after turning off the lights. Lexi walked into her room and Jesse was already in bed.
"You need to stop spoiling Sammy with stories and money. Your daughter is not going to be happy when she hears about it," Jesse said as Lexi climbed into bed.
"I can't help myself." Lexi smiled. "How is Frankie doing?"
"I actually talked to him today. He's still sad over Sam's death, but he's doing better," Jesse told her.
"That's good. At least he still has two sons and a daughter," Lexi said. She leaned closer to Jesse.
"I love you, Lexi."
"You got my name right this time," Lexi said and laughed.
"That was over forty years ago."
"I'm just joking. I love you, too."
Jesse put his arm around Lexi's waist and they both fell asleep.
