4Act 1 Scene 1: Outside House
Lisa: Wow, this house is huge. Thanks for inviting us up here Heather.
Heather: Don't mention it, I'm so glad you could come. (Coughs)
Paul: Wow its really big, cool. It kind of reminds me of the planet Borg in Star Trek.
Tony: (cuts off Paul) No Paul! So sis, this is pretty cool huh. I wonder who is gonna get it.(winks)
Heather: Yea. I can't wait till it is mine. (Raises eyebrows)
Paul: But I thought.(sees Heather glaring at him).never mind.
Lisa: Doesn't this house supposedly have a window made of diamond or something?
Tony: Yea, supposedly, it is also supposed to put a curse on whoever inherits it because they didn't work to get it or something.
Lisa: Well let's go inside and get our weekend of fun started.
Heather: Yes, lets (grinning) (All walk in house)
Scene 2: living room
Lisa: It's so dark and musty in here, that's ok; we can clean this up a little. So where do we put our stuff?
Heather: Oh you go upstairs and it's the first door on the right, Paul and Tony, upstairs second door on the left.
Paul: Ok, sounds good. Lisa do you want me to carry your bags up for you? (Smiles)
Tony: No Paul, I got them (picks up bags)
Lisa: Thanks anyways Paul. (Smiles at Paul and then proceeds to walk up with Tony, arm and arm, talking)
Paul: What could she possibly see in him?
Heather: I don't know, but whatever it is, you don't got it, so forget about it.
Paul: How?
Heather: Just don't worry about it, it will work out in the end, right (smiles funnily)
Paul: Oh yea. Well I better go put my stuff away.
Heather: Yea, me too. Oh do you have the lock?
Paul: Yea here it is (hands lock to Heather) you sure you don't want anyone going through your things?
Heather: Not a chance. (Both go upstairs)
Scene 3: Back in the Living Room
Tony: So what now?
Lisa: Maybe we could play a game or watch TV.
Paul: Yea lets watch TV there's a Star Trek marathon on tonight that I thought I was gonna have to miss.
All: NO!
Heather: Why don't we play a game?
Lisa: Ok, what kind of game?
Tony: How about charades?
Heather: Fine, whatever. (All write actions on cards, and begin to play) (Heather acts out being a fish) Tony: Ummm, are you a snake? (Heather shakes head) Are you an eel? (Heather shakes head no)
Heather: God you are so stupid I was obviously a fish.
Paul: Wow yea this game is fun, well no its not, ummm lets not play anymore.
Lisa: Yea, really.
Heather: Its only bad because Tony is stupid.
Tony: Geez lighten up sis, it's just a game. (Punches Heather lightly on shoulder)
Heather: Yea, you're right, I'm sorry bro. (A slight sense of sarcasm)
Lisa: Yea well lets just go to bed.
Tony: Ok, night Lisa, night Heather.
Paul: Good night girls.
Lisa: Goodnight Tony, (smile). Night Paul
Heather: Night all.
(All go upstairs and go to bed).
Scene 4: Heather and Lisa's Room
Lisa: I'm so glad you let me come.
Heather: I'm glad that you came.
Lisa: I hope I'm not an imposition.
Heather: (with mild sarcasm) No, you're not a problem. I'm glad Tony brought you.
Lisa: Yea, we are going to have so much fun this weekend. I will be a weekend we will always remember, I just know it.
Heather: Yea, I know. I know that I will never forget it. But why are you so exited?
Lisa: Just because I'm here with my friends and Tony. Isn't he just the greatest!?
Heather: Yup, he's the best. (Rolls eyes)
Lisa: (smiles) And you know what, I think he might propose this weekend?
Heather: Really, it's a shame then.
Lisa: What! What are you talking about?
Heather: Well, honestly, you really shouldn't have come here.
Lisa: Why not, you are my best friend and I'm dating your brother.
Heather: I know, and I'm sorry about that, if only Tony wasn't gonna get this..
Lisa: Wait, WHAT! Tony's gonna get the house, that is excellent. Oh I hope the diamond window legend is true.
Heather: It is true, but this is not a good thing, especially since you now I'm gonna do something I really didn't want to do; in fact I was hoping to be able to avoid this altogether. But now I have no choice.
Lisa: What! (Heather pushes her down with a pillow and takes the knife from her bag and repeatedly stabs her and then throws a blanket over her while kicking the mutilated corpse under the bed)
Heather: Oh well that will do for now. (Finishes unpacking)
Scene 5: living room
Paul: Hey what's up?
Heather: Hey.
Paul: Where's Lisa?
Heather: said she was going to go by Tony. (Paul can easily see Tony in kitchen by himself muttering Lisa where are you)
Paul: Oh, ok.
Heather: (raised eyebrows) you have the arsenic?
Paul: Yea, here you go. So we're really gonna do this?
Heather: Yea, why wouldn't we?
Paul: I don't know never mind. Well I'm gonna go to my room.
Heather: See you soon. (Grins evilly)
Scene 6: Paul finds Lisa
Paul walks into Heather and Lisa's room calling for Lisa. As he walks in he sees part of Lisa's body under the bed, hanging out. He gasps and then he runs quickly out of the room.
Scene 7: Paul and Tony's Room
Paul: Hey, Tony.
Tony...Hey Paul.
Paul: Hey I gotta tell you something and its not gonna be easy to hear.
Tony: Paul stop there, I don't want to hear anymore about Star Trek or the Klingons or anything like that.
Paul: No no, come on, I'm serious.
Tony: Fine ok, but have you seen Lisa.
Paul: That's what this is about.
Tony: What is it Paul (glaring at him)
Paul: Ok maybe you should sit down. Heather brought you here this weekend because you are going to inherit the house. (Tony opens his mouth to speak). No let me finish. She doesn't want that to happen, not at all, so we plotted to kill you. I'm telling you this now because Heather killed Lisa.
Tony: No, it's not possible. Heather is my sister, shed never do that. Plus Lisa is her best friend. (Pause).It was you, wasn't it? You killed Lisa because she didn't want to be with you.
Paul: No, I'm telling to truth you gotta trust me.
Tony: NO! (In a fit of rage he grabs a lamp and knocks Paul over the head with it) Oh have I done. (Runs from room)
(As Tony runs from his room towards Heather's we see Heather entering the room that Paul is in, a second later there is a scream heard from both rooms).
Scene 8: Living Room
(Tony runs into room as Heather is sitting down on the couch) Heather: Tony, stop hey what's wrong?
Tony: (shaking) I just.I just killed Paul.
Heather: Are you sure?
Tony: Of course I'm sure, I saw him fall.
Heather: Why would you kill him?
Tony: He was talking crazy, sayin that I was gonna get the house and that you ha plotted to kill me! You're my sister! Then he said that you killed Lisa. How could you? You guys were best friends! Then I lost it and hit him in the head and he fell. I killed him. I'm a murderer!
Heather: Ok Tony calm down.
Tony: Calm down?! How can I calm down? I just killed my friend and my girlfriend is dead. We have to call the police.
Heather: NO, I mean no, you would end up going to jail for both murders because we cant be sure who killed Lisa, and since you already killed have to think up a plan.
Tony: (still shaking) Alright, what do we do?
Heather: Here why don't you sit down and eat some food, you'll feel much better.
Tony: Ok, thanks sis. (Begins eating)
Heather: (stands up with an evil grin) Unfortunately, you failed to kill Paul, just as you fail to do so many other things you incompetent freak. All you did was knock him out cold so I had to finish the job. When Paul fell he made a large noise so as you were running out to find Lisa, I had to go in and take care of business. You really should have listened to him, cause Paul, well he was telling the now, its your turn.
Tony: WHAT! ME a freak! What is wrong with you, you psycho! How could you kill your best friend! You guys were so close. I loved her. How could you kill Paul?! Oh my God! I am not a murderer, you are! You are evil. Yea Paul could get annoying at times, but that still is no reason to kill him. You can have the house. But that won't do you good, Ill tell the police.
Heather: Tony, that is a beautiful plan, but it won't work. The food you've been eating was poisoned with arsenic; you'll be dead within a minute.
Tony: (starts coughing and shaking) I thought we were close sis. We're family.
Heather: Are you kidding me, I've hated you since mom and dad adopted you. You were always spoiled. They ignored me, and treated me like I wasn't there. You are stupid and ignorant, and now its time you pay. So good-bye Tony, I get it all now, the house, the window, and the respect. (Evil laugh), It's finally all mine. (Begins to drag the body offstage)
