The little girl sat beside the fountain. To her, it was almost as big as the Eiffel Tower, which she could see from where she sat. The distance shrunk it to the size of a small building. The small girl grew weary of merely sitting and began to sing to her rag doll.

"It's alright, yes it's ok. Mommy should be here sometime today. Don't you worry, little Carri, Mommy will be..." Carri stopped singing. In the distance, she heard two gunshots and a woman's scream. Carri ran away. She knew her mommy was dead.
