_Scattered Opposers_

The exterior was cold as it always had been

I could see the stitches from the constant resewing

Of a heart torn far too many times

They said you had met your match

You couldn't bring yourself to see

That someone had been sent to pick up the peices

Lying scattered on the ground

It hadn't taken much to see you smiling

And now it's like you're a whole new person

But through the glittering band of happiness

There are others not so pleased

For the blossoming of our love

Opposing sides want you for their own

Still I cannot let you go

But it's only for you to choose

And not for one like me.
