"Blue"
The sky turned from a brilliant blue to a deep black
And all the while Lyvia stared on into the distance.
Her eyes, normally a brilliant blue,
Were clouded with uncertainty and despair.
Her chest moved heavily,
As she tried to breathe with her heart crying.
Her heart, normally red with love and warmth,
Was now black and blue,
Bruised with all the cruelty and hate of this world.
She began breathing harder,
As blue tears threatened to fall down.
Although it was dark outside,
(Meaning she was just a silhouette),
She nonetheless did not want the heavens to see her fall.
Lyvia turned her head to examine
What other forms of hatred lurked in the world.
But as she did she saw a home,
Which looked very similar to hers.
Immediately thoughts rushed through her head;
Images of black and white, for they were of the past,
But there was much red involved,
A red that sparkled brilliantly against the monotone colors.
It glistened brightly on the greys,
And soon that was the only color Lyvia could see.
Her heart remained black with bruised pain
Her eyes began bleeding tears against her will
And as Lyvia threw herself against the ground,
Crying and breathing heavily, she swore to herself,
That whatever she does in life,
She will make sure, that the color red
Lays its bloody hands on the cruel ones who did this.
Hmm this one should be called "Red"
