Here I lie, in a quiet house
No one stirs, but me and myself.
My mom will be here, to take me away
No more sleep, will I get today.
My friends are asleep, snoring strong
They will deny it, but how they are wrong.
Toys are scattered, around the room
They lie in death, and phony doom.
The clock ticks along, annoying and loud
But they don't know it, they're oh-so proud.
Here I lie, in a quiet house
No one stirs, but me and myself.
