I run the crimson blood across my face,
War paint to give me a new disguise,
Hands and feet covered with scars.
Spikes run across my forehead,
I close my eyes to feel the blood drip down my eyes.
The soft beat of a song fills the air,
The drums begin to slap on bear skin pads.
My feet tap,
My hands in a readied stance,
And when I open my eyes,
Take out my arms,
My body begins to move into a dance.

A primal nature released;
Movements of ancient memories,
A civilization long elapsed,
Forgotten through urbane eyes;
Lost remnants of the past,
Forgotten feelings,
Abandoned emotions;
I dance throughout the night.

Long moment's pass,
I feel the tears drain from my eyes.
My feet refuse to stop,
The voices of my companions roar in cheer,
But they are deaf to my ears.
The moonbeam shimmers over the hoary field,
The grass begins a waltz to the soft wind's melody.
My breath is cut short,
My eyes begin to bleed through the blackened sockets,
I open and I feel its energy rush through me.

A primal nature released;
Movements of ancient memories,
A civilization long elapsed,
Forgotten through urbane eyes;
Lost remnants of the past,
Forgotten feelings,
Abandoned emotions;
I dance throughout the night.

Such graceful bliss
With the moonlight's kiss,
The emerald and sapphire's dance with the stars,
And the rubies to open the ivory gates
To the world after the now.
