8Dark secrets lie within my heart and mind,
My heart, with twisting chambers
and winding tunnels
Like vaults well locked.
And my mind, with serpentine corridors
Like a labyrinth.
These secrets clamour to come out,
Yet I shall not let them.
The maze in my heart shall hold them
The strength in my spirit binds them.
Never can they leave.
They shall stay within me-
Finding their way into my mind.
Their efforts to come out become
Cascades of tears at night.
Immortal agony they cause
Tormenting me
Forever.
