Blue shuts the black door of night
And puts away the stars
Her job begins at the sun's first ray
And ends when its gone
She works other jobs, too
Like coloring rainbows and paintings
Tinting little blue birds and fish
Swimming in the water to wash off
When she gets too sad and cries
She's in some eyes and certain clothes
She's also in pleasant dreams
She does all she can and so very well
She is the earth blue
