A time where arguments were resolved in the battlefield, and power was determined by sword. It was an interesting time. Legendary battles still haven't taken place. Heroes and villains were yet to be decided. The winners were right and the losers were wrong. All decided by might.
It was also the time when angels and demons still walked the face of the earth. No, wait…only demons walked the earth. Angels, don't exist…but guess what? Demons could love.
Dark Love By: WhitesirenDisclaimer: The thoughts and concept of demons and angel don't belong to me.
Chapter 1: Forest Of The LostThe days were dark, as it usually was and soon it would be night and then it would be really dark. A dark blanket would cover the earth and the sky would be pitch black. Not a brave soul would venture out of their homes at night and none would ever dare go to the forest. Such were the tales that those who go out at night will have demons eating out their flesh. None who have gone at night had ever come back to prove or disprove this theory. They were simply just gone. And so the tales got worst and worst and the thought of even going out at night would make a grown man cower.
James Lindsy was either very brave, or very stupid. Or he simply didn't have a choice.
Earlier that afternoon, Jade, his 7 year old sister, ran to go after the white kitten James got her for her birthday.
"Stupid kitten." James thought. He glanced at the ominous surrounding he was in and curse himself. "I guess he that could go both ways." He thought wryly. The then swallowed as he heard something rustle in the trees.
He looked to his left. His right. His front. His back. Then he did a complete turnaround. Nothing. He looked up. Big mistake. The forest was said to be different at night filled with evil magic, that the leaves of the trees were said to be the eyes of the devil.
"Where in the world is she?" James thought distraught. Thinking how scared his little sister could be, James walked bravely deeper and deeper into the heart of the forest. "C'mon Jade, where are you?"
A being watch him from atop the trees a Cheshire smile on its face. Body cloaked in darkness, only its eyes were visible, and it fiercely glowed. Orange and yellow and gold, a mix of bright colors against the darkness that surrounded her, the eyes were following the young man walking in circles around the forest.
Teeth flash and a growl escaped its throat. It was hungry and it has found its food.
A/n: Very short, a trial story as you might say. This is the first time I've ever written an original story and I'm not sure how people would receive it. I originally thought of this as a fanfiction, so if this might now go well as an Original story I might convert it to a fanfic. Review please. Help would sincerely be welcome, since I'm not an expert in developing characters and situation. I might do a profile chapter next.
