A/N: This was another assignment for school. Obviously I didn't learn all of this last week (although some of it I did), but I thought it made a good title. Enjoy!

What I Learned Last Week...

A person's name to that person is the sweetest sound in the world.

Criticism leads to resentment.

Receiving one mere smile can change your outlook on the rest of the day.

Jackalopes are not real.

The only way to win an argument is to avoid it.

My nine year old brother is training to be a monkey.

There is no joy without sorrow; nor victory without loss.

Optimists can drive me insane.

Until I assured her otherwise, my fifteen year old sister believed that unicorns actually exist.

There is no true winning side in war.

Freedom is not free.

I'm allergic to rabbits.

I'm turning into my parents.

I'm close to taking a sledge hammer upon my computer.

I'm obsessed with antique books.

I'm intrigued by dark stories.

Life's most essential lessons are not attained through school.
