Extended Lufians – Chapter 6: Breathing in Beauty

I die in your eyes every time
And every time, I'm reborn to memories
Memories of your veiled nirvana.
To dissolve into boundaries presumed,
Into love finally grasped,
Is my dream never realised fulfilled
And in that moment, oh that exquisite moment
In which I revel in your everything, so sacred
It seems I could never bask in a more wonderful state,
A fragment of time as beautiful…
With you in my arms, the heavens in your eyes
It's impossible to believe in reason
To think such perfection is a random occurrence,
The result of a severe explosion
For just by your touch it's proved false,
Your fire inducing touch.

To know your soul, your heart, your mind
Emphasises I have not lived in vain
Our kiss…

…Damn. I have reached the *peak* of sappiness. I blame love. I feel better after writing this though, for some reason, so it's all good. Ja, it is on sex, and ja, I glorified it to the point of naivety, but then who wants to hear the truth these days? Hardly anyone. So basically this poem is aimed at the hopeless romantics out there, may you always have your romance novels! I, coming under that category, tend to live off the bloody things, and am yet to be introduced to a hot, single, duke who happens to be my soulmate. And why the hell not?!
