Sitting on a bench,
I turn to see you,
Coming towards me.
Frozen with fear,
I sit and wait.
Are you coming for me?
Or walking by,
Like I don't exist?
I feel the bench move,
Someone has sat.
I can't look,
What if you disappear?
A soft hand cups my chin,
Forcing me to see,
The person sitting next to,
Me.
Dark eyes,
Staring into mine,
Filled with nothing but,
Love.
For me?
Couldn't be.
Your lips grow near,
My heart beats fast,
I close my eyes,
To darkness.
The touch I've longed for,
Never comes.
My eyes fly open,
You're nowhere in sight.
A tear slides down my cheek,
As I lay back in my bed,
'Just a dream'
