I often look at my little ship,
And imagine where it's been,
Holding a contest with the moon,
Did, the race, it win?
I often look at my little ship,
And imagine what it's done,
Did it sail amidst the midnight stars,
Before the rising sun?
I often look at my little ship,
And imagine the mysteries,
That are revealed when its sails are filled,
With the early morning breeze
This is my first rhyming poem ever. It kind of just popped into my head last night. I owe the inspiration of this poem to a little model ship I bought in Maui. I think that the last line of the first stanza is a little awkward and I would appreciate suggestions on how to fix that. I'm also considering adding some stanzas. Let me know what you think.
